It’s good to see this mall being busy. Tiny restaurant with a few tables and benches outside. One of the better scallion pancakes I’ve had. Flaky, not too greasy. I need to work my way through this menu. Everything was cooked just right. Would love to see a larger menu. Maybe some desserts would be nice as well. And the staff is great. Very friendly!!!

XIBEI‘s shumai is a memorable traditional delicacy. The thin, handmade wrapper showcases their attention to detail, while the generous filling is rich in flavor, combining a savory meatiness with a hint of sweetness for a layered taste experience. Steamed to perfection, the shumai retains its juiciness while offering a delightful texture. Paired with the dipping sauce, it elevates the overall flavor. If you’re a fan of shumai, XIBEI’s version is definitely worth trying!

Extremely friendly service and delicious, high-quality food at a very reasonable price (especially for the expensive Silverlake area). We ordered the veggie shaomai, chicken + mushroom shaomai, and a hot & sour soup, all three of which were super tasty. Definitely a new local favorite!
